THE BEACON

Firstly a huge thank you to Sue for such a warm welcome. She even helped us unload the car! The apartment certainly has the wow factor! It was spotlessly clean, stylish and comfortable. Memories of sitting each morning having breakfast whilst overlooking the beautiful view will stay with us forever. In fact, we spent most of our holiday chilling on the balcony taking in the beautiful view and sunshine. We will definitely return. In fact, we can’t wait!!

This was the perfect place to bring my parents, who are both in their 80’s. Beautiful views and weather was lovely! This combined with an amazing apartment allowed us to chill and make memories that will last a lifetime. We will be back for sure. Thank Sue for being so helpful when we decided to stay an extra day!!

Again beside the seaside, again beside the sea, Milly and Gemma, and Lila and me. Strolling the fore-shore, wandering free, Then home to ‘The Beacon’, for muffins and tea.
Beacon of wonder, beacon of light, Sumptuous by day, cosy by night. A haven of peace and tranquil delights. With a balcony overlooking wonderful sights.
Filey Bay stretching, sand-edged below, Blue-sky canopy with golden suns glow. The finger like Brigg pointing east for to show, The way to Europe: but no need to go.

This is our second visit to ‘The Beacon’ and enjoyed another wonderful relaxing week. Apartment is immaculate, thank you Sue & family. Hope to visit again.

Lyn brought the “girls” as promised. We have had a fab time. This flat is all that was described to us. “Beautiful”, so comfortable and relaxing. Managed our lunch once out on the veranda in the sunshine. “Ace”. We will be back.

I have holidayed in Filey every year since 1987, my husband since the 1960s, and we have never stayed anywhere quite so luxurious, or with such a wonderful view. This is definitely first class accommodation. We hope to return very soon.
